Oh-yes-I-did.
Stand in the middle of the road to get this one. :)

Naughty mama setting bad examples for your kids by standing in the middle of the road to get the perfect shot! At least you didn't break your ankle doing it!

(This IS a cool shot, btw)

Why did the photographer cross the road.....ok, maybe it's not that funny.

Good for you for seizing the moment...and place. It's a really neat shot. Love how the clouds brighten and how you're drawn into the scene by the "V."

Ok, the photo made me say "ooh!" out loud, and then your comment made me laugh out loud. :)

Glad I'm not the only one. My kids are constantly making fun of me for pulling over to shoot something that caught my eye. And don't get me STARTED on what the dh thinks when I tell him to pull over...

Let them fuss and moan, it's worth it to get a picture that makes someone say "oooh!" :)

Way to sacrifice your body for the picture, Kim! You go girl. Very cool shot!

Hoe did you get this effect? It's really quite stunning? I love the V and the way the edges of the trees have some special effect.

Julie, it's a filter in photoshop elements, called accented edges.
The composition of the V and the colors of the sky were natural and just called for me to pull the car over and capture them!

Hey, I've done it too. Right here in NYC I'll stop middle of the street to catch a moment with my camera.

I like the photoshop effect.

I placed you on my photoblog buddy list. Hope that's okay?
