I like the way you are cradling it. There is an almost maternal feel to the image... hmmm maybe you feel protective and proud of your little ipod :) I still don't have one, and I am not sure I want one because I don't like anything touching my ears.
You knew I'd love the color! And I agree with Beth - great nails! (Nice image in every way - nice balanced composition with the angle of the pod against the angle of your hand).
I admired the nails, and the bright color of the ipod... also struck by the finger-prick spots on two fingers-- a normal part of life? with the beauty and the gadgets...

Pretty color. You camera always takes such nice close ups. You are also meeting the self-portrait challenge of taking a picture of a body part. :)

OK, I'll admit the pod is cute, but the nails are FAB! :-)
Itty bitty teeny weeny...looks like you value that cute little thing. :-) Our eldest has one and has enjoyed the heck out of it!

You guys are cracking me up with these comments about my nails. I am so not a girly-girl and do absolutely nothing to my nails :). LOL.

Yes, Mary, a very normal part of life...and I also noticed that it got captured along with the other elements.
And in its own way the pricks are beautiful too -- me taking care of myself :).
It was sweet of you to notice that!
