Flowers are nice, but nothing says spring to me like Peeps! Love the pic! (And the peepmobile...rather like the popemobile, but more sugar-coated.)

NO! NO! I hope this doesn't start a Peeps meme.

Shudder

I hate Peeps.

(My sisters used to sneak them into bed with us, and I'd wake up in the morning with them stuck in my hair. And besides, they taste awful.)

I will admit that it's a cool photo though. I like the black background and the reflection.

Cute picture! I just can't stand how they taste!!!

Too cute! What are they sitting on? I love the little sparkles. Yap, it's Peep time of year. :-)

You all have me laughing out loud at your peeps passion.

Peeps, ya either love 'em or hate 'em. I admit I do like them best when they are a bit stale...

Peeps meme, peeps meme!

Susan, believe or not, they are sitting inside a dark blue utility tote that we store stuff in, in our store. I shot inside it to block out all the ambient background stuff in the store. I think that is how I got this cool, dark effect with the flash.

Really nice photo! I was wondering how you got it so dark around them, too, and with the sparkles.

And I love the two previous photos, showing the flower's stages. It's beautiful.

Hah! Peeps! Gummy bears for the springtime.

I love all the comments...I agree with Jo(e)--I hate the taste, even though I never slept with them or got them in my hair, that I remember...and Margaret's intrigued me...I have to go see how a peepmobile is like a popemobile! And you are a creative genius to stick them in a bag for effect! It works!

Oh, and to Jo(e), I am very sorry for your peeps trauma!

Hah! They are better stale even thought technically I really prefer dark, dark chocolate to most all confections!

We were JUST discussing these in the car with our children. They LOVE those disgusting things! My son was saying we always get him a chocolate bunny that he never eats. So, I suggested we should fill his whole basket with PEEPS. He said, "No, you shouldn't do that, I need more variety in my diet!" At which my dh responded, "How about YELLOW peeps and PURPLE peeps!"

This is too funny that I should come home and see your PEEPS POST!

hehe - I knew the peeps were on the way. I'm kinda with jo(e) on this one, but I love the shot! :)

How funny. I used to be a peeps addict. I always poked a few holes in the plastic with a fork and then left them for a long time until they were a bit crunchy... but then we moved to Africa! Peeps not available here! AND THEN as a PEEPS PURIST I was disgusted by all the imitation peeps, to me the only real ones are chickens, yellow. And now there are not only all colors and shapes for Easter but also Halloween and Christmas peep! They've commercialized something special and it's lost its' uniqueness! Plus I'm trying to get rid of most sugar in my diet... so it's really a good thing I'm in Africa... which is what I tell myself over and over again... but notice the passion in my comments!!! I guess that means I'm not over it.

Oh, and I enjoyed the picture!!!

I bought PINK Peep rabbits today and thought of you. I was getting a variety of goodies for the kids(and John) Easter surprise and felt the need for Peeps. ;-)
