Trees Through Windows

On my lunch break from art class, I walked around the building and was struck by the combinations of windows and trees.

Great shots! As I was scrolling down I kept saying, I like that one best, no I like that one best.... I think the second from the bottom is my current favorite, but that might change when I look at them again :)

In the forth picture, it looks like there's a shadow of a tree, but it ends in the bushes so it looks to me like an upside down tree, with the bushes as the top!

Good series! I find myself constantly looking at trees these days (well, when I'm not in the lab...). Trees against the sky, old trees, young trees, funny trees, "Atlanta only" trees (growing with streets and sidewalks and walls making room for them AND forcing them to grow strangely...).

Trees make me happy, so your photos do too!!

Yep, I love trees. I think the third one down might be my favorite with it's extreme graphic look created by the dark lines from the windows shadows.

Really nice series. I find myself looking at nature through lines, too. Actually, I find myself noticing lines and angles more now (and trees, and flowers, and sky...). I didn't think about which one I like best. I'll go look again.

I so love this series! I commented on it in an art thread on LampPost. :) I like the way the lines impact the composition of the shots. My favorite is the first one with blinds where the lines actually get thicker and thinner (the blinds themselves visually). Great idea.
