Great shot! I am looking at it on Jeff's laptop which is better than my old laptop which I was browsing on earlier today and the colors are so rich... they didn't come through on my old laptop.
Tia -- Well, today I did not have one of the donuts :-).
But, when I do, I do the same thing that your pancreas does when you eat a donut. I give more insulin through my pump. My disease (type 1) is very different from Type 2 diabetes.
Is that an apple fritter in the top right corner? Are you at Shipleys? If so, I would be ordering an apple fritter for Nathan, cinnamon sugar cake donut for Christy and ham and cheese kolaches for me and everyone else...they eat the donuts and the kolaches and then it sort of becomes a balanced meal. heh
I know I'm late! But I starred this in my google reader to come back to. The donuts look way too good and I was thinking about you with the diabetes stuff... I'm trying to follow the South Beach diet right now, am on the second week of phase 1, which is about reducing our "insulin resistance" and our carb cravings... and it's working well I guess. BUT a picture like this of all those delicious looking donuts in all those appealing colors... it's almost too much temptation!!!
It's a great pic, but I would think it's very TOUGH to be balanced with your diet and meds and then food like this... the picture makes me think of the struggle.

They look tempting and it's a great shot, but what do you do about your blood sugar thing when you have donuts?

Oh how I want to reach through the screen and grab one of those donuts.
I like the light and variety of color in this one. Also your composition - how you zoomed in and filled the screen.
Ah. Thanks for explaining! It is a pretty shot.
